Dear Andrew,

Thank you so much for your gift. Your generous support is critical to our life-saving mission of placing abandoned, homeless cats and dogs in permanent loving homes.

Sadly, every year millions of adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized across the country. Northeast Animal Shelter, one of New England's largest no-kill shelters, saves thousands of pets each year by bringing them to our adoption center, caring for them, and placing them in forever homes. We pay for transportation, medical care, food and a cozy place to play and sleep while our animal friends wait to be adopted.

Your compassion toward animals sets you apart. You are one of a special group of people who understand that our animal companions, who give us unconditional love, desperately need our help.

If our cats and dogs could talk, they would join me in thanking you for your generous, life-saving donation.

Thanks for caring,

Dear Andrew,

Thank you for your donation to the 2011 Pan-Massachusetts Challenge.

The PMC supports the innovative work of doctors, nurses, and scientists at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and their search for cures for cancers and related diseases. Your gift is a tribute to Dana-Farber's outstanding work and gives faith to patients, families and friends who seek the most effective and advanced care available today.

In 2010, the PMC donated 100% of every rider-raised dollar directly to cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. The PMC generates over 60 percent of the Jimmy Fund's annual revenue. In 2010, the event raised and contributed $33 million to the Jimmy Fund, bringing its 30-year contribution to $303 million. The PMC's 2011 goal is to raise even more for the Jimmy Fund - crucial funds that are making a difference in the lives of cancer patients around the world.

Thank you on behalf of all those touched directly by your kindness.

Sincerely,

On Sunday, June 26, the 21st Annual North Shore Cancer WALK and 2nd Annual North Shore Cancer RUN took place at Salem Willows Park. It was an unforgettable journey of shared purpose and commitment, winding through historic Salem.
This year, we broke records with estimates of 6,000 walkers and 550 registered runners, nearly 1,200 more participants than last year. We could not have had such a successful event without the outpouring of support from our sponsors, volunteers, walkers and runners to whom we are eternally grateful.
This year’s proceeds are directly benefiting North Shore Medical Center’s oncology unit as well as wellness programs at the Mass General/North Shore Cancer Center in Danvers.
On behalf of the North Shore Medical Center and the thousands of cancer patients that will benefit from your efforts in the 2011 North Shore Cancer WALK/RUN, thank you again for your time and your support.
